Saddington is situated between Leicester and Market Harborough, just South of Fleckney, well off the beaten track. See maps below.
Directions
From the centre of Saddington take the Mowsley / Gumley road and take the left to Gumley at the bottom of the hill out of Saddington. This takes you up past the reservoir and the club is on your right, parking (close together!!) on the left.
Parking
Parking is very limited with room for 15/16 cars max so please car share wherever possible. Please park nose into the hedge and close together.
Facilities
There is a lovely piece of water at Saddington for sailing but there is very little beyond that! There is a dry unheated club house with basic changing facilities and M + F basic toilets. There is a generator. I'm checking on whether drinking water is available other than the lake full of the stuff. Watch this space! Also checking on availablility of tea/coffee making facilities. 'Pop etc' is being provided for the youngsters.
