The Trophies

The Mayor's Trophies are put up by the Mayor of Hinckley and Bosworth and the Mayor of Nuneaton. There is also an Endeavour trophy awarded for the youngster who has progressed the most during the year.

Matthew Fulham was a keen sailor who was tragically killed in the Egyptian terrorist bombing in July 2005. He learnt to sail at Hinckley Wharf under the instruction of Colin Magee. The Matthew Fulham Memorial Trophy is a new trophy being put up by Matthew's parents. Read Matthew Fulham's story here.

All the trophies will be presented by the people that put them up, at the final regatta at Bosworth Water Trust on 27th August 2006.

The winners of each series will be calculated from the results of the individual regattas, using one discard. This means that the lowest scoring race (or non attendance) for that person is ignored and the results are calculated using the remaining scores.
